The Last Days: Part 2 of 2

Preview: This is the second part of a two-part lesson entitled: THE LAST DAYS.


Scripture Reading: Revelation 6:1-16.

Memory Verse: Revelation 6:17.

1. God told Daniel to seal the book until the time of the end. According to the Scriptures, what was seen as the seals were broken?
    A. First Seal: What was the bow a symbol of? Revelation 6:2.
    B. Compare Revelation 6:2 with Revelation 19:11-16.
Note: We know that the rider is Jesus Christ.
    C. Second Seal: What did the red horse represent? Revelation 6:3-4.
    D. Third Seal: What could we say that this rider represents? Revelation 6:5-6.
    E. Fourth Seal: How does this seal reveal world war and famine with great destruction? Revelation 6:7-8.
    F. Fifth Seal: How does this seal reveal the persecution of the saints? Revelation 6:9-11.
    G. Sixth Seal: How does this represent the wrath of God? Revelation 6:12-17.
    H. Seventh Seal: What do we see of the last day messages to the Church at the breaking of this last seal? Revelation 8:1-6.
    I. What was the seventh angel’s message? Revelation 10:1-7.
Note: When the seventh angel’s message is given we can know that the end is near. We must know the contents of the book of Revelation in order to recognize the fulfillment when these things occur.
2. Who is the heart of the message of the book? John 12:44-50, Ephesians 1:3-4.
Note: Jesus was worthy to open the book because of His humble willingness and commitment to the Father’s will.
3. What should we fear when we are faithful to God? Revelation 2:10-11.
