Note: There are times when God has to stand by and watch His children suffer in order that we might see the way of right. Sometimes only suffering can bring us to our senses. God would not be faithful to us if He let us go wrong without a correction. Oh, if we could always look on God’s chastisements as a show of love and not a grievous punishment, it would be so much easier for us to bear them.
