Preview: A review of how Christian families should interact in order to create a peaceful, godly home life.


Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 6:1-9.

1. What should we avoid in our conversation? Colossians 3:8-9, Ephesians 5:3-5, Ephesians 4:29 & Ephesians 4:31-32.

7. Should parents ever confess their faults to their children and seek their forgiveness? James 5:16.
8. What kind of conversation and attitude brings about unhappy and broken homes? Proverbs 15:17, Proverbs 25:24, Mark 3:25, Proverbs 19:13 & Proverbs 27:15.
9. What insures a happy home? Deuteronomy 12:7, I Chronicles 16:9-10, I Peter 4:12-14, Romans 5:11, Psalm 35:28, Psalm 100:4, Ecclesiastes 9:9, I Thessalonians 4:2, & I Thessalonians 4:6.
10. What good is a merry heart? Proverbs 17:22.
Note: Medical science is discovering that happy, contented people have less sickness.
11. Which is better for making peace: Praise or criticism? Philippians 4:8-9.
